Subject	Any idea on average heat range of under hood temps?

Message	Going to put in a simple temp indicator strip under the hood, probably on the firewall, to get an idea of under the hood temps. As I progress with the project, maybe I can use that as an value measuring system. Of course some type of in-engine temp sensor would be ideal but space is a premium of course. A) 105 - 160 B) 170 - 260 C) 270 - 360 Thanks in advance.
